Very nice plane
Review by Martin R. on 7 Oct 2017review stating Very nice plane
This plane is easy to put together. I love this plane. It is a war bird with fixed landing gear so less one thing to worry about :). It flies good without the drop tanks. With the drop tanks, it is still ok but you will have to fly and put a bit of concentration 'coz it kinda wanders a bit and you have to correct it every now and then. I guess that is normal if you have all those bomb and drop tanks hanging at the bottom. BTW, you might want to put epoxy on the drop tanks attachment points. Mine fell on the first flight when I did an aileron roll. The suggested GC is ok as well as the recommended throws. I had to put an up elevator mix when you deploy flaps 'coz it noses over without. Don't set the model under direct sunlight. Covering wrinkles fast but can be fixed with a heat gun (be careful not to overheat it). The iron is not so good in removing the wrinkles for this plane. The covering is a bit on the shiny side but there are ways to get rid of the shine if you don't want it shiny. Here is a short second flight video.

Nice detail but the push rods are terrible. DO NOT FLY WITH THEM. The wheel pants crack if you look at them wrong. Also, the plate where you mount the throttle servo was built flipped so I had to carve out to make the throttle line up with the engine. The landing gear is super weak and loves bending at any less than perfect landing.

This is my newest arf and it’s awesome. With the coupons I got it for 260$ which is insane. It’s beautiful, it’s big, and it’s an easy build. The instructions (if you use them) are so detailed, it’s is a great first build arf if you’re new to the game. Yes the wheel pants are thin but just add some goo to them. I think im going for a new spinner but other than that, 5/5!!
