Capable of producing 4.1 BHP, the side-exhaust BGX-1 3500 offers a better power-to-weight ratio than 35cc (2.135ci) gasoline engines, and lower vibration levels, too. In addition, the BGX-1 is also equipped with one of the features that pilots favor most: a remote-mounted needle valve, for added ease and safety during adjustments. A dual bearing-supported crankshaft and durable ringed piston design contribute to smooth, long-lasting use in large-scale aircraft. A lower profile adds to installation ease and in-cowl possibilities. Plus, the bolt pattern on the included backplate mount matches the bolt pattern on the ST3000, for drop-in simplicity during engine replacement. Includes muffler, mount, glow plug and safety prop nut assembly.
