I have been buying a lot of ARF planes to have something to do this winter and this one is incredible for an ARF! The detail is fantastic and the electric retracts at this price when many do even come with them at all is a real value!

ok so I'm giving this ARF a 3 star only because the lack of information on the model and because I had to cut the spinner. As far as the quality its very good all parts fit nicely into place this includes the wheel wells. Wings, vertical, horizontal and fuse are sheeted but the elevator halves and rudder are open bay. The covering is good comes with panel lines and weathering (never cared for it). Landing gear drop fit into place no issues. Ok so I'm assuming that most should know by now, after an extended period of time making calls to TOWER HOBBIES and their tech support I finally got the answer about the battery for the retracts. Its a 7.4 volt 2s 5c 1500 mah lipo. I got one that is 2000mah. (Thanks Teddy!!) So if you're setting up like I did with a DLE 20cc you'll need 3 batteries (Rx, ignition and for retracts). The ailerons, flaps and rudder have pin hinges but not the elevator in which I replaced with pin hinges, only the flap push rods are hidden inside the wing. (Not like the 20cc F4U). The wings are a two piece wing in which you'll put together via dowels and two nylon wing bolts which I find weak they flex a bit much so ill be changing those out for metal wing bolts to include the plastic blind nuts. All in all not a bad size plane, I'm still happy with the purchase. As far as maiden flights I believe everyone has their own opinion and different flying styles. Hope this helps.
