XERUN XR10 ESC Overview

Purpose-built for racing classes: Modified or Stock? The ESC offers both options. The standard G3 version is better suited for Modified competition, delivering smoother power delivery. The G3X is ideal for Stock competition, providing more agressive power delivery.

The standard version of the G3 ESC included a built-in reverse connection protection circuit, effectively preventing damage to the ESC caused by accidental reverse connections.

The XR10 Pro G3 features a built-in data recording module capable of storing up to 19 groups of 20-minute data sessions, totaling 380 minutes of storage.

The next evolution in frameless cooling technology, the fan assembly is also detachable to further reduce the ESC's center of gravity when the ESC cooling fan is not required.

Freewheeling effects deceleration and overall operational efficiency to help reduce temperature. Compared to the previous XR10 Pro G2S ESC, the temperature theoretically drops by 15 degrees Celcius during operation, improving overall consitency and reliability. This significant temperature reduction is especially beneficial under higher load applications.

The RPM decrease rate setting offers faster deceleration off throttle, enhancing control in corners.

Using an innovative close loop brake control creates a brake output that is more accurate, and more linear. This allows the feel of your brakes to be completely linear at all speeds. This mode completely solves the problem of non-linear braking force, which is often caused by traditional braking methods due to the influence of vehicle speed. Disk Brake mode also supports the Brake Force Curvature to fine tune the brake bias feeling. Of course, the normal linear/ traditional braking nodes are still available.

The Smart Fan start-stop function allows the fan to be off when the ESC does not need it and automatically activate when the ESC's temperature rises and cooling is required. The Smart Fan start-stop function ensures the ESC stays within its operational temperature range and reduces power usage and noise when the fan is not needed.

Two levels of parameter adjustments allows drivers to simplify some of the more common tuning items, while still having complete access to all the ESC settings when needed. You can keep it as simple or option packed as you need.

The ESC is equipped with an optimized Softening 2.0 technology. The parameter enhances the driving force in the initial phase, significantly improving the drivability of high power vehicles without losing overall speed.

The ESC layout has been optimized for simplicity in wiring for on-road applications while also accomodating off-road vehicle layouts. Plus, the ESC also includes one set of U-type connectors, which can easily meet various wiring requirements, such as flat and diagonal soldering.

An Adjustable BEC is integrated in the ESC to provide an output current with a peak of 10A. The output voltage has continuous adjustability ranging from 5V to 7.4V, settable at .1V per step in this range. All this meets the power requirements without any issues for both high-torque and high-voltage servos.

These profiles can be saved for future reference.
  • An internal electronic key switch ensures long service life and high reliability, while the external switch port allows for the connection of an external switch (not included, sold separately), offering flexibility for various installations.
  • The separate programming port can power an external fan or connect to an LCD Program Box Pro or OTA Programmer for the ESC.
  • Variable frequency regulation of PWM and brake frequencies allows users to precisely control the driving and braking forces of the motors.

  • Disc Brake mode, an innovative feature by HOBBYWING, provides smoother and stronger braking performance.
  • Multiple protections include, low-voltage cutoff protection (LVC), ESC and motor thermal protection, and fail-safe (throttle signal loss protection).
  • The ESC features a built-in data recording module, eliminating the need to constantly connect to the OTA Bluetooth module. After use, connecting to the OTA Bluetooth module allows users to view various performance data.
