This Hobbywing XeRun AXE R2 FOC Brushless Motor is part of the world's first FOC brushless system for Rock Crawlers. FOC (Field-Oriented Control) guarantees rock crawler drivers Super Linearity, High Torque & Extreme Silence. Chip-type magnetic encoder inside the motor guarantees consistency between three phases’ signals and always outputs pure and precise signals indicating the rotor position. 4 pole and 12 magnet design featuring Hobbywing’s “staggered pole” patent has zero cogging effect & torque ripple. The system works smoothly for high degree of control of rock crawlers at low speeds. The new sensor harness features a silicone O-ring inside. The new design & O-ring not only provide a firm connection between motor and ESC but solve the “waterproof” challenge for sensor ports. IMPORTANT, The Xerun AXE series is a closed-system: Due to its advanced technology, HOBBYWING XeRun AXE R2 Motor works only with XeRun AXE R2 ESC.
