The variable height axle (VHA) rear axle has multiple CV pin locations in 0.5mm increments. This moves the CV joint in relation to the lower suspension arm hub hinge pin. Moving the CV joint away from the hub hinge pin provides more lock-up and straight-line rear grip. Moving it toward the hub hinge pin allows the car to remain planted better while accelerating.
