Schumacher Cougar LD3 Fin turnbuckle kit - stealth black

Overview

The base of the design is centered around a .143” (3.7mm) titanium hex size which gradually tapers down into a 3.5mm thread base design which accepts the Schumacher ball-cup after modification*. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the center. The Fin turnbuckles are lightweight, and the original design brings out the glamour and quality that makes titanium one of the most sought-after exotic materials in the world. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left- and right-hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.

Several items indicate a JConcepts equipped vehicle, the Fin turnbuckles are one of those items. Often sampled by the rest of the industry, the JConcepts item is the original, featuring the revolved cuts and delicate machine work. JConcepts turnbuckle adjustment wrench is offered separately as part # 2234. The burnt blue turnbuckles have intentional sporadic coloring ranging all around the blue spectrum. In order for these turnbuckles to be used properly on the Schumacher ball-cups, its necessary to carefully drill out the plastic parts using a 3.2mm drill bit (not included).
