Great ARF kit no problems!
Review by Lt J. on 10 Oct 2019review stating Great ARF kit no problems!
The build was quite easy and straight forward. I selected the Rimfire motor and needed to add extensions to the mounts to reach the cowling. Flies great with that motor plenty of power. I wish the nose gear had a door included with the kit and that they at least have it as an upgrade

after building and flying the smaller one I bought this one. It goes together fast building it in 4 parts them final assembly. after completing it less engine It is large and a bit heavy so I put a Revolution 50cc engine in it. first flight was a hand fule at first. my friend had to help trim it out so I can keep it in the air. after trimming it flys great. my balance was nose heavy and after the first flight checking out the wing I have 2 degrees of wash out in the right wing and 1/2 degree in the left wing this is why it was a hand full on the first flight. went home and shifted the 2 receiver batteries to the rear hatch and tried to remove some of the twist in the right wing but it was to stiff. second flight was much better but still have some elevator trim to fly level and a lot of trim in the alerons as well. but it flys great with the 50cc engine flys like a PC-21 should. I might buy another wing see if I get a straight one that will fix the trim issue.

Phoenix PC 21
Review by Plywoodbill on 18 Sep 2017review stating Phoenix PC 21
Would first like to say that this model is very well thought out. The fit and finish are nice and it is a fairly easy build for an experienced modeler. The air retracts that are included worked perfectly. They are however loose and move inside the retract base, but all in all a good set up.
As for flying, I was very disappointed. The wing loading is very high and scary... so much in fact that my maiden will also be the last flight. The landing was so difficult that I had to have another pilot land it.
I have another larger 55 CC PC 21 and it flies like it is on rails.
Would suggest that Phoenix look at making some changes as this plane has huge potential but the wing loading is really high and a real challenge to fly.
