Overview

Manufactured in the early 20th century, this versatile 2-8-0 was used both domestically and internationally in freight, industrial, and passenger service. Today, a number continue to operate through breathtaking scenery in excursion service. Newly reintroduced, our Baldwin Outside Frame 2-8-0 arrives with prototypical details replicating oil-burning examples found in the United States. An additional undecorated example, which will include interchangeable details to suit most domestic or international configurations, is also available. All examples feature SoundTraxx™ Tsunami2™ DCC, with multiple programmable choices for exhaust chuff, whistles, bells, and a wide range of additional steam locomotive sound effects.
