The most powerful units on the road at the time, they had a total weight of 394,000 pounds each and could exert 82,100 lbs. of continuous tractive effort at 11.1 mph. Units 7450-7469 (depicted here) were delivered in the â35 styleâ paint scheme, with yellow noses and small side initials.
