HO ATH RS-3 Locomotive w/DCC & Sound, DH #4068

“Genesee Valley Transportation and “the” Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad has repainted historic former D&H RS-3, #4068 into the Delaware & Hudson lightning stripe scheme at their Von Storch shop in Scranton Pennsylvania. The locomotive had been previously painted in the early D&H freight scheme and operated on “the” Delaware-Lackawanna. It was repainted to reflect and commemorate the rich railroad history of northeast Pennsylvania and the influence “the” Delaware & Hudson railroad had on the industrial development of the region. The classic blue and grey is a testament to former D&H Penn Division, a portion of which is now operated by the “the” Delaware- Lackawanna and owned by the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Rail Authority (PNRRA).”
