Review by Baldeagle713 on 15 Sep 2019review stating First impressions.
I saw the Full sized airplane at Sentimental Journey in LockHaven Pa and knew I had to have a flying modle of this aircraft. I recieved my modle and inspected the parts. It is a very sterdy ARF. Large hatch install and access gear. Covering was tight. Fallow the directions and it goes to geather with only one hitch. The rods connecting the botton ailerons to the top ones are short. I double checked the build pictures and i had every thing correct. The rods are short. I got other longer rods compleating the build. I put a Saito FG21 under the cowl. Some cutting required. Balanced perfectly with no lead required. The Saito FG21 has plenty of power. Great climb out was awsome. Flew at 5000 RPM. With a 16x6 propeller after trimming. After 15 minuits of flight, braught her infor a landing. Fly it in with some power. I didnt and got to slow alittle hight but not to hight. All it did was brake a prop and tip over. No other damage a testiment to the quality of build at the factory. Definatly an intermediate to seasoned aircraft. All in all fun fun.

Another great Phoenix model
Review by Conway on 16 Sep 2020review stating Another great Phoenix model
I love the quality of this 'kit' and my previous Phoenix planes have all looked and flown great. Building a biplane as an electric however seems like a cop-out. I'm building mine as a gasser, with a smoke system to really have wow-appeal although I'm sure she would look/sound great with an OS 4-stroker as well.

Typical Phoenix Models - Great!
Review by Usma82 on 25 Feb 2018review stating Typical Phoenix Models - Great!
Completed the build and have three flights on her so far. Assembly was straight-forward with a very clear manual for guidance. Added flying wires for looks, even though not needed. Cutting out the plastic LG fairings was a bit of a challenge, but doable. Used a Rimfire .80 and CC Talon 90 ESC. Plenty of power on 6S, and very maneuverable. Definitely a great-flying and great-looking plane.
