Founded in Japan in 1948, Futaba has a long history with RC starting with manufacturing radio receiver vacuum tubes. Futaba began designing, manufacturing, and selling RC transmitters in the early 1960s and they continue to be an industry leader in RC transmitters, RC servos, and RC receivers to this day.
Futaba RC products have been responsible for countless world championships. Their innovative products start with the heart of Futaba – the RC transmitter. In addition to the modern pistol-grip RC transmitter for surface vehicles, Futaba also makes a feature-packed, 8-channel joystick RC transmitter for surface and air. Their RC aircraft transmitters go up to 18 channels and some models include telemetry and even touch LCD screens in full color.
Futaba servos come in different scale sizes from micro to large-scale with high torque and high speeds for maximum performance. Futaba makes servos for surface vehicles and aircraft including wing servos and landing gear servos so that you’ll have the right servo for your application.
Futaba receivers serve as the go-between from the transmitter to the servos. Futaba receivers work fast to give you maximum control over your RC vehicle or airplane. Some of their RC aircraft servos come with telemetry capabilities to keep you informed on the performance of your RC airplane or helicopter. Futaba receivers also come in a variety of channels to meet the demands of high-performance RC vehicles and aircraft.
