This is a Radio Controlled, Glow Powered, Almost-Ready-to-Fly, Tower Hobbies Kaos 40 ARF Aerobatic .40 Sport Scale Airplane. Recommended for modelers who have had trainer airplane experience and also have safely flown/landed .40 size low wing planes.

  • Construction: all balsa and plywood.
  • Wings: Fully-symmetrical airfoil, mid wing configuration. Attached to fuselage with two ¼-20x2" nylon wing bolts.
  • Covering: Factory applied heat shrink covering. Color scheme is Red and White separated by a Black and Yellow stripe.
  • Radio Compartment: Easily accessible, plywood reinforced
  • Canopy: Single, clear
  • Landing Gear: .16" (4mm) thick pre-bent wire. Nose and main gear.
  • Building Time: Ready to fly in only 10-12 hours

  • Servos: Four standard (1-Aileron, 1-Elevator, 1-Throttle, 1-Rudder) (a high torque servo is suggested for the rudder, but not required)
  • Misc. Items: Glow plug, ¼" foam rubber padding, medium fuel tubing, fuel filter, propeller, building and field equipment.
