Welcome to the exciting world of Radio Control modeling!

How to Get Your Web Page Listed in the R/C Web Directory

Listings in the R/C Web Directory are FREE to qualifying sites.

The number-one qualification for being listed in the R/C Web Directory is that your site must offer information or other content that is unique and helpful to the radio control enthusiast.

If your site contains a few lines of text and some pictures, we would probably not add it. If you included substantial information about how you built or how you run your model which others would find useful, we would likely add the site. Pictures alone do not qualify as content. Quality counts--too many misspelled words (or worse yet) broken links or graphics will disqualify your site. Having only links to other R/C web pages (or just being a "web ring" site) does not constitute "content". We reserve the right to not list sites which feature objectionable content or profanity. Sites which require login, are browser dependant or use programming tricks to limit the capabilities of the user's browser are not listed.

We do not link to used merchandise listings or auctions, "chat" sites or advertising service companies. We cannot list your site if it includes non-closeable or excessive pop-up window advertisements or if you employ non-escapable "intros". Your site must be available 24 hours a day (please no dynip.com or similar URLs) and must have an ICANN-sanctioned top-level domain name (.com, .net, .org, etc.). We do not accept redirected URLs (like fly.to, or race.to, etc.) Commercial sites must offer products or services which are currently available and product availability must be clearly indicated. Your page will be removed if we receive errors (over bandwidth allocation, etc.) when we try to access it. We reserve the right to not link to "affiliate" sites.

Official U.S. R/C club pages are almost always accepted.

Some Tips On Submitting Your Page

When we first add your new listing to the R/C Web Directory, a link is placed in the appropriate section along with a *NEW* graphic which remains with your link for approximately 30 days. Your site is also listed in our insanely popular What's New page, also for about a month. These attention-getting devices result in sending literally thousands of people to visit your site in a very short period of time. You should make sure that your site is "ready" for its Worldwide Grand Opening, that it looks like you want it and not too much content is "still under construction". Since we reserve entries in the What's New section primarily for new links added to the directory or major new product announcements, you will not have an opportunity to be re-listed in What's New once your site is already part of the R/C Web Directory.

To submit your site to the R/C Web Directory, please use the Suggest-A-Link form. Please do not ask us to separately list pages, features or subsections. If you ever change the URL (address) of your site, please let us know right away by using the Update-A-Link form (we do not charge for updates). Failure to notify us of a moved link could result in your link being banished to the not-so-popular Lost Links Page. Changing your URL less than 30 days after initially being listed will remove your link from the What's New page.

If your link is accepted for inclusion in the R/C Web Directory, we simply ask that you also link back to us from your page--preferably with a graphic link. Redirect links do not qualify. Details for how to easily link to us can be found on our Graphic Links to Tower Hobbies page. If you feature prominent reciprocal graphic links for other R/C sites, including a graphic link to the R/C Web Directory or Tower Hobbies greatly improves your chances of being listed.
