“CV” power and preformance — for planes!
The only things a friendly race and aerial combat competition
have in common is the need for speed, power and the 15CV-A to supply both. The
side-exhaust 15CV-A is based on the proven 1/10 scale buggy engine, but re-engineered
and re-equipped for the needs of flight. The head features a semi-squared shape
that maximizes fin/cooling area. The carb is a Model #10K rotary carburetor, created
specially for the 15CV-A and airplanes. The webbed, reinforced crankcase and ball
bearing-supported crankshaft are common to both air & car engines, but the
15CV-A’s remote needle valve is included purely for pilot protection. The
nylon backplate mount not only prevents metal-on-metal contact, but offers a choice
of horizontal or vertical mounting. Includes #871 muffler, #A3 glow plug and two-year
limited warranty protection.
